The photography of Carl Mehler embraces and highlight elements of design, line, form, color and spatial relationships. Carl’s background as a graduate of Pratt institute in Brooklyn, N.Y., the owner of Dunn Mehler Gallery in Half Moon bay for 12 years, and the 35 years he practiced space planning and interior architecture fostered this unique photographic vision.

The color photos are created utilizing Kodak slide film, Elite Chrome 200 ASA. The selected slides are enlarged at a professional lab. There is no digital manipulation. What you see in the final product is what he saw when he took the photos.

The black and white photos generally are taken with Ilford Delta black white film, 400 ASA. All processing is completed by the artist.
